Photographer Sacha Jung discovered this abandoned mansion Leonie in Liege, Belgium.
The house was empty for several decades and turned into a kind of a capsule of time.
All things and furniture were in their places, only a long time of desolation left a mark on the interior items.
“Urbex, Urban Exploration, Lost Places or Abandoned Places.
There are many terms for this kind of hobby.
I am a passionate Urbex photographer for some time. The term “Urbex” is composed of the two words “Urban” and “Exploration”, which translates as “exploring the city”.
I look for abandoned places to capture and immortalize the beauty of the decay of buildings and objects in order to elaborate them afterwards.
I am, of course, following the code of the scene:
Do not leave anything but footprints and do not take anything but your photos.
I never gain access to buildings or land.” – Sacha Jung
